MARK YOUR CALENDAR

  • Fighter Verses-- We continue the Fighter Verses Scripture Memory program this year.  Make sure to pick up a 2026 Bookmark which gives tips for Scripture memory and our verse for each week.  Memorizing Scripture is a great way to deepen your faith and grow in your discipleship in the new year.  

  • Today at 9:45 a.m. during Sunday School.

  • Lenten Readings- Beginning on February 22, we will have Lenten readings for each service and need readers. Please sign up on the clipboard that is being distributed before or after the service today.

  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need volunteers to move racks and dresses from the basement to the Fellowship Hall on Sun., Feb. 15 after the 11:00 am worship service. We also need volunteers to break everything down and take it back downstairs on Sat., Feb. 21 at around 12:30 pm. If you can help one or both times, we'd appreciate it! (The Prom Project Event was postponed to Feb. 20 and 21 due to the weather).

  • Monday, Feb. 16, 7:00 pm. - Pastor Natalie will be performing a selection of gospel music and hymns for the McDowell Music Club. The concert will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Rural Retreat, and is free and open to the public.

  • Tuesday, February 17-- 6:30 pm We will continue Max Lucado's Tame Your Thoughts Bible study.  This six-session Bible study explores three scripture-based tools for managing your thoughts.  All are invited to join us, and feel free to bring a friend.  Books will cost $15. 

  • Wednesday, February 18 - Ringers Practice, 4:15 p.m.

  • Wednesday, February 18 - Ash Wednesday Service, 6 p.m.

  • Thursday, February 19 - GriefShare in Grace Hall. Each session starts at 6pm with a light.meal and normally concludes at 8pm. and is designed for anyone who is grieving a loved one.  Please see Teresa    Compton, Debbie Kinder, or Fielden Sanders for more information.  You may also go to GriefShare.org on the internet.

  • Prom Project - Friday, Feb. 20 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

  • Saturday, February 21 - Men’s Breakfast, 7:30 a.m.

  • Sunday, March 1- Our Conference Superintendent's visit has been resched uled for Sun., March 1, with one service at 10:00 am and breakfast at 9:00 am. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this exciting time of fellowship with Rev. Todd Chancey and his wife Liz.

  • Agape Food Donations - Spaghetti Sauce & Peanut Butter are items most need ed this month. PLEASE NO GLASS CONTAINERS. The basket is available in the Narthex for food donations.
