Fighter Verses-- We continue the Fighter Verses Scripture Memory program this year.  Make sure to pick up a 2026 Bookmark which gives tips for Scripture memory and our verse for each week.  Memorizing Scripture is a great way to deepen your faith and grow in your discipleship in the new year.  

Printed Church Directories are available in the Narthex. If you'd like to access the church directory online or through the app on your phone, see the insert in today's bulletin. A special thank you to Bob Humphries for being the Administrator of the Directory and for getting all of the information online. Also thank you to Wanda Brewer for taking the pictures and Peggy Duncan for helping to get them organized! If you have questions or see any needed corrections in the directory, please contact Bob Humphries. Some people opted out of being part of the directory, so if you see names that are missing, they may have requested not to be published.

Saturday, August 29 – Church-wide picnic. A shelter down by the river has been reserved all day at Foster Falls. We plan to eat around 5 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs & drinks will be provided by the Wesley Class. Please bring a dish to share. Everyone is welcome!

Operation Christmas Child. There will be a 5-minute meeting after the 11 a.m. service. All are invited to attend.

Sunday, August 9 - West End Homecoming service at 10:30 a.m. ONLY ONE SERVICE and NO Sunday School. Rev. Steven Johnson will deliver our message and there will be a covered dish luncheon immediately following the service. All are invited to attend!

Photos for Homecoming – West End will be displaying photos in memory of past church members at this year’s homecoming event. Please bring a framed 5 x 7 OR 8 x 10 photo of your loved ones who were West End members and give it to Judy Albert or Peggy Duncan by August 1st. Make sure that your name is marked or labeled on the back of the photo so that your picture will be returned after homecom ing.

Agape Food Donations - Spaghetti noodles and Crackers are items most needed this month. PLEASE NO GLASS CONTAINERS. The basket is available in the Narthex for food donations.
