Fighter Verses-- We continue the Fighter Verses Scripture Memory program this year.  Make sure to pick up a 2026 Bookmark which gives tips for Scripture memory and our verse for each week.  Memorizing Scripture is a great way to deepen your faith and grow in your discipleship in the new year.  

We would like to welcome Rev. Todd Chancey and his wife Liz to worship today. Rev. Chancey is the Conference Superintendent and Coun cil Chairperson for the MidSouth Global Methodist Conference. We are de lighted to spend time in fellowship with Todd and Liz today with breakfast and to have Todd share the Word with us during worship. The Chanceys have written a book about their faith journey which will be available for purchase in the Fellowship Hall during breakfast and in the Narthex after worship.

Tuesday, February 10-- 6:30 pm We will continue Max Lucado's Tame Your Thoughts Bible study.  This six-session Bible study explores three scripture-based tools for managing your thoughts.  All are invited to join us, and feel free to bring a friend.  Books will cost $15.

Thursday, February 12 - GriefShare in Grace Hall. Each session starts at 6pm with a light.meal and normally concludes at 8pm. and is designed for anyone who is grieving a loved one.  Please see Teresa    Compton, Debbie Kinder, or Fielden Sanders for more information.  You may also go to GriefShare.org on the internet.

If you are interested in learning more about West End Methodist or about joining, please join us for a New Member Class on Sunday, Feb. 15 during Sunday School (9:45 am- 10:45 am) in Grace Hall. Pastor Natalie will lead the class. If you plan to join us, please pick up a "New Member" packet from the bench in front of the office and try to read through it before attending on Feb. 15.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need volunteers to move racks and dresses from the basement to the Fellowship Hall on Sun., Feb. 15 after the 11:00 am worship service. We also need volunteers to break everything down and take it back downstairs on Sat., Feb. 21 at around 12:30 pm. If you can help one or both times, we'd appreciate it! (The Prom Project Event was postponed to Feb. 20 and 21 due to the weather).

Monday, Feb. 16, 7:00 pm. - Pastor Natalie will be performing a selection of gospel music and hymns for the McDowell Music Club. The concert will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Rural Retreat, and is free and open to the public.

Wed., Feb. 18, 6 p.m. - Ash Wednesday Service
