COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES: We will be sending out “care packages” to our college students in November. Please take one of the blank 1/4 sheets of paper distributed at today’s service and write a short note of encouragement to our students (you may include a prayer, poem, Bible verse or just a short note). We will collect these notes this Sunday and next Sunday, Nov. 2 in the Basket in the Narthex. Once collected, we’ll copy them and include them with a gift card to college students who have attended services in our church in the past year.

We need 8 people to volunteer for nursery. We have 2 volunteers already. With 8 people, volunteers would only serve once per month. Please consider serving in this vital ministry. Volunteers are required to submit to a background check, paid for by the church. Please see our Nursery Director, Katy Porter (or call at 620-6317), if you are willing to serve.

Sat., Oct. 25 -- West End Craft Fair from 9 am- 2 pm. We still need vendors for our Craft Fair. Tables for vendors are only $10, table provided. If you or someone you know make a handmade item (such as jewelry, candles, pottery, clothing, knit/crochet, woodwork, quilting, or cards) or any food item (such as baked goods or honey), sign up with Andrea Midkiff to be a vendor! We want this to be the biggest Craft Fair ever, with lots of variety for the whole community. Andrea's number is (276) 613-2936.
